Welcome to the Hunter Industrial Virtual Showroom. We'd love to help you upgrade your space with one of our commercial or industrial fans.
Our 18-Foot HVLS Fan Lineup
Two performance tiers. Same 18-foot diameter. Select based on your coverage requirements and structural capacity.
Titan 18'
The Titan HVLS Fan delivers 12,769 sq. ft. of coverage with a single fan, the most in the 18-foot lineup, powered by Hunter Industrial's flagship Direct Drive Motor and secured by a patented structural-grade steel blade holder that locks blades at the precise pitch for maximum airflow efficiency. If you're running a high-activity warehouse or distribution floor where sustained, even coverage matters all day, this is the model built for it. Adjustable downrod from 2 to 10 feet. Limited Lifetime Warranty. AMCA certified.
ECO 18'
The 18' ECO HVLS Fan covers 8,100 sq. ft. with aerospace-engineered blades and a Direct Drive Motor, at a lighter 138 lb. hanging weight and a more economical price point than the Titan. For facilities where the Titan's coverage footprint is more than you need, or where structural capacity is a consideration, the ECO delivers dependable, quiet airflow. AMCA Certified. Adjustable downrod from 2 to 10 feet. Limited Lifetime Warranty.
18-Foot HVLS Fan Specs at a Glance
The Titan and ECO diverge more noticeably at 18 feet than at smaller diameters, both in coverage area and in operating speed. Use this table to identify which model fits your space and structural requirements.
| Series | Max Affected Area | Max Speed | Hanging Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titan 18' | 12,769 sq. ft. | 93 RPM | 183 lbs |
| Eco 18' | 8,100 sq. ft. | 80 RPM | 138 lbs |
Note: Max affected area assumes standard ceiling height and unobstructed floor plan. Consult our team for racked facilities, multi-zone layouts, or non-standard ceiling profiles.
The Aisle-Way Airflow Specialist
The 18-foot diameter produces an airflow column wide enough to reach across standard racking configurations and broad enough to sustain circulation down extended aisle runs. These are the environments where that matters most.
Standard Warehousing & Distribution
Long racking aisles are notoriously difficult to cool with conventional fans. The airflow either misses the aisle entirely or creates uncomfortable draft zones at the fan's immediate position. An 18-foot HVLS fan solves this by generating a broad, slow-moving column of air that pushes down evenly and flows out along the floor in all directions, reaching deep into aisles without creating the turbulence that disrupts picking, packing, or forklift operations. For multi-aisle facilities, a spaced arrangement of 18-foot fans provides consistent coverage from dock to dock.
Manufacturing & Assembly Areas
Wide production floors with active assembly lines need airflow that's both consistent and unobtrusive. An 18-foot fan covers a substantial footprint without creating draft points that interfere with precision work, and without the noise that makes communication on a busy floor harder. Hunter Industrial's Direct Drive Motor runs at a sustained, whisper-quiet speed.
Food & Beverage Facilities
Air circulation in storage zones, staging areas, and processing floors affects both worker comfort and product quality. Hunter Industrial's 18-foot fans carry a UL 507 rating, making them suitable for covered environments where humidity and condensation are a factor. The Direct Drive Motor design eliminates belts and gearboxes. NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 compliance is standard, with optional fire relays for facilities that require automatic shutdown on alarm activation. For specific food-safe certification requirements, contact our team to discuss the right configuration for your facility.
Sizing & Installation Pro Tips
An 18-foot fan in a racked warehouse operates differently from one in an open floor plan. Layout planning is worth the time before you commit to a placement strategy.
- Think in aisles, not just square footage: In racked facilities, fan placement should account for aisle orientation. Positioning fans so the airflow column pushes down across aisle rows, rather than along them, produces the most effective floor-level circulation for workers and products.
- Ceiling height: Both 18-foot models perform reliably from as low as 10 feet to as high as 50 feet above the floor. In taller facilities, the adjustable downrod lets you bring the fan lower to optimize the floor-level airflow column.
- Mounting height: The adjustable downrod on both the Titan 18' and ECO 18' telescopes from 2 to 10 feet, giving you precise control over hanging height regardless of your ceiling profile.
- Fan spacing (multi-fan installations): In larger facilities, follow Hunter Industrial's spacing guidelines for 18-foot models to ensure full coverage without airflow overlap.
- Obstructions in racked facilities: High racking, overhead conveyor systems, and structural cross-members can interrupt an 18-foot fan's airflow pattern. Map your obstructions before finalizing placement; our airflow team can help you work through a complex layout.
- Structural mounting: Both models mount to standard I-beam, Glulam, Unistrut, or purlin structure. At 183 lbs. (Titan) and 138 lbs. (ECO), it's important to confirm your overhead structure's load rating with a structural engineer before installation.
- Seasonal operation: Run the fan to push air downward in summer for maximum floor-level airflow. Reverse direction in winter to break up the warm air that stratifies near the ceiling and redistribute it across the floor, cutting heating costs without cranking up the thermostat.
Pro tip: Racked warehouse layouts benefit from a proper airflow review before fan placement is finalized. Our team is available to review your floor plan, including racking configurations, ceiling heights, and structural constraints, before you order.
Maintenance & Longevity
In high-throughput warehouse and distribution environments, fan downtime affects worker comfort and operational continuity. Hunter Industrial's 18-foot fans are built to minimize that risk. The Direct Drive Motor has no belts, gears, or gearboxes to fail, which means fewer components to service and a simpler maintenance profile over the life of the installation.
Warranty Coverage
Titan 18' and ECO 18': Limited Lifetime Warranty
Standard Features for All 18-Foot Models
- Direct Drive brushless Motor: No belts, gears, or lubrication requirements; built for continuous operation in demanding environments
- Redundant safety systems, including motor and drive overload protection
- Safety retention cables are standard on every unit
- Pre-wired twist-lock connections for clean, code-compliant installation
- UL 507 rating: suitable for covered environments with humidity, condensation, or moisture exposure, we recommend the IP66 Fan Drive Enclosure for challenging environments
- Full NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 compliance: optional fire relays automatically shut the fan down on fire alarm activation
Maintenance requirements are minimal: keep the blades clean, check your mounting hardware periodically, and the fan handles the rest. Contact Hunter Industrial Precision Services, and leave the installation and maintenance to us.
